Introducing OTL – Outside the Lines

My main music identity has lived in the space where country, pop, heart, and storytelling meet. That lane isn’t going anywhere. It’s still the core of who I am as a songwriter and the foundation of everything I release under my name.

But I’ve always had another side of me that didn’t fit neatly inside that box.
A heavier, darker, more experimental sound.
Rap. Hip hop. Trap. Cinematic anthems.
Late-night energy. Swagger. Edge.
Game-inspired tracks. Meme-driven chaos.
Creative ideas that don’t belong on the country playlist.

That’s why I’m launching OTL – Outside the Lines.

OTL is the home for every track that steps outside the traditional Bryon Hughes sound. It’s not a separate artist. It’s not a rebrand. It’s a creative lane where I give myself full freedom to push boundaries and explore everything that doesn’t fit the country/pop world.

If it’s rap, trap, cinematic, experimental, dark, moody, hype, meme-driven, game-inspired, or just something wild that hits me at 2 AM… it lives in OTL.

Every OTL song will be built the same way I build everything else:
grounded, authentic, intentional, and driven by real emotion and real life.
But the sound will be wider, heavier, and more unpredictable.

This isn’t about chasing trends.
It’s about unlocking a part of me that’s been sitting in the background for years.

The first OTL release is coming soon.
It sets the tone, hits hard, and opens the door for everything that comes next.

Welcome to OTL.
Welcome to the side of my music that refuses to stay inside the lines.
